NTU-MST offers admissions to the Fall semester only. The admission deadline for the NTU-MST program is February 1 every year. Because the admission and application of NTU-MST is through the website of Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP), Molecular Science and Technology (MST), please refer to the website for the detail.     International students and Taiwanese students with a M.S. degree from an accredited institution will be considered for admissions. The applicants’ qualification for admission will be based mainly, but not exclusively, on the following certified/ notarized documents provided by the applicant:


    Undergraduate and graduate academic records or transcripts.

    Applicants whose first or native language is not English are required to submit one of the following English proficiency test reports (the listed scores are recommendations)

    1. GEPT :Applicants from Taiwan may take the General English Proficiency Test (GEPT) administered by the Language Training and Testing Center. A High-intermediate level certificate is required. 2. TOEIC :A minimum score of 785 (Listening & Reading) is required.

    Applicants who have completed a degree program in an English speaking country, or who graduated from a university where English is the primary language of instruction may be exempted from the test of English proficiency with an official certification issued by the Office of Registrar.


    Three letters of recommendation commenting

    Three letters of recommendation commenting on the applicant's personal character, and qualifications for independent study, including intellectual ability, research potential, and scientific motivation. Letters of recommendation can be submitted by using the online registration system or by mail to the admissions office.


    A statement of purpose or plan

    A statement of purpose or plan for graduate study detailing motivation, experience, and academic interests.
