    NTU-MST Outstanding Research Award was held on December 23, 2020

    The ceremony for the 1st annual NTU-MST Outstanding Research Award was held on December 23, 2020. The goal of this award is to honor NTU-MST students for their outstanding performance in scientific research. The committee evaluated the applicants' qualifications according to their published results during the NTU-MST program. The final winners were selected for the three medal awards: diamond, gold, and silver.

     This year, two third-year Ph.D. students won the gold medal. They are Cheng-Chieh Lin under the supervision of Prof. Chunwei Chen, and Jyun-Yi Yeh, under Prof. Chia-Wen (Kevin) Wu’s supervision. The silver medal was awarded to the second-year student, Chia-Yen Liew who is under prof. Chi-Kung Ni. Their creativity, innovation, and contribution to the field of research impressed the committee. NTU-MST hopes their outstanding performances will encourage the other NTU-MST students' to excellently perform as well.
